Electrical Engineer
About Us
Souremphi develops advanced autonomous systems for defense and mining operations.
Our platforms combine AI, high-performance engineering, and field-tested reliability to operate in complex and demanding environments.
We deliver scalable, mission-ready solutions built for real-world conditions.
About the Role
As an Electrical Engineer at Souremphi, you will design mission-critical hardware: architecture, schematic capture, PCB layout collaboration, verification, and bring-up. You will help take boards from prototype to production with tight reliability and environmental constraints.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to the end-to-end design of electrical systems, from architecture and schematic capture to PCB layout and hardware bring-up
- Develop and maintain firmware in C/C++ (and optionally Rust) for board-level control, diagnostics, and hardware validation
- Perform simulation, analysis, and lab testing to validate design choices and ensure signal integrity
- Build and test prototypes, troubleshoot issues, and drive root cause analysis to deliver robust and reliable hardware
- Execute verification and validation (V&V) test plans, document results, and support the transition from prototype to production
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional engineering teams to ensure system-level performance and seamless integration
You should have the following
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or a related field
- Proficiency with ECAD tools such as Altium for schematic capture and multi-layer PCB layout
- Strong understanding of analog and digital circuit design, power electronics, and signal integrity
- Experience with SPICE or similar simulation tools, and proficiency with standard lab equipment (oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies)
- Hands-on skills for prototyping and rework, with strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities
Nice to have
- Proven experience designing and validating complex electrical and mechanical systems
- Strong embedded systems expertise with STM microcontrollers (architecture, power management, debugging)
- Practical RF design and testing experience with long-range, low-power protocols such as LoRa
- Background in analog signal conditioning and high-speed digital video signal integrity
- Proficient in C/C++ and Rust for firmware development, and Python for test automation or data analysis
- Solid knowledge of SPI, I2C, and UART communication protocols, with DFM/DFT/EMI best practices
We look forward to hearing how you can help shape the future of autonomous defense systems at Souremphi.
