About the Role
You will industrialize builds: process design, line balancing, fixtures, and quality systems. You’ll drive yield, takt time, and cost without compromising reliability.
Responsibilities
- Design and document assembly processes, work instructions, and test procedures
- Develop fixtures, jigs, and automation to improve throughput and quality
- Implement PFMEA/DFM and drive continuous improvements across cells
- Track metrics (yield, rework, takt) and lead corrective actions
- Coordinate with supply chain and engineering for smooth ECO execution
- Qualify processes and suppliers for ruggedized systems
You should have the following
- Experience in manufacturing engineering and process development
- Ability to create clear documentation and standardize procedures
- Hands-on approach to fixtures, tooling, and layout improvements
- Data-driven mindset for quality and throughput
- Cross-functional collaboration with design and operations
Nice to have
- Experience in aerospace/defense or mining equipment builds
- Exposure to robotics/cell automation and MES/QMS systems
- Lean/Six Sigma tools and methodologies
